Designer Constructions was employed on behalf of designers Turner & Associates, to construct a new entry and entertainment area at a property which sat on a steep incline.
To create a unique atmosphere modifications were required to prevent the new pergola looking similar to standard pergolas. To maintain its strength and design feature, a steel structure was implemented and manufactured on site including all the pergola posts and stabilizing beams. It was not possible to use a timber structure in this case, as the required diagonal bracing would have detracted from the overall appeal.
Timber joists were secured to the top of the steel support beams for the Hardwood decking to be nailed too.
A bush rock water feature comprising of a pond and waterfall was created to reflect a relaxing atmosphere visually and audioably. Mood lighting was strategically placed throughout the garden and pergola areas. A new front entry to the home was custom built to compliment the new look of the property.
