Designer Constructions were briefed to overhaul the existing space and focus the design on useability for customers. Vibrant red was selected as the feature colour for impact and appeal, enticing potential customers to enter the store. A specialised lighting fixture that was suspended above the main counter was a strong feature of the overall design.

The strategic positioning of the front counter enabled staff clear vision to all areas of the shop. The counter was tiered to maximise the amount of stock on display and to improve accessibility. This prevented a claustrophobic feeling of a cluttered store and allowed easy passage for shopping trolleys, preventing stock being accidentally damaged.

Each display bay consisted of a storage compartment below with sufficient capacity to carry the spare stock required for that particular bay.
